Introduction to Darklords

Deck Overview

Despia Darklords remains as its own unique strategy and takes advantage of the relative lack of Fusion Lock when compared to Branded Darklord, as well as the swarmable nature of Darklords themselves. These two factors enable the deck to engage in easy Link Climbing, while the Despia cards help streamline Fusion Summoning Loading... . Generally speaking the deck lacks disruptive power outside of certain Link Monsters and Darklord Traps, but it has significant recursion capabilities thanks to Loading... and Loading... ’s revival effects, both of which work in tandem with one another to keep bodies on the field for Fusion, Link, or even XYZ plays.

Tech Glossary

Non-Target Steal to deal with protected Monsters / Non-Target Negate and Heal for slower grind games.

Sometimes a consistency boost depending on your hand. Sometimes you don't want to banish any monster. Tragedy is the only good target to banish. Considered a budget replacement for Gold Sarc/Foolish.

An option that trades consistency for power. DPE Package can often be bricky, especially without Celestial. Replacements for Celestial include: Dreamer, Disk Commander, and Denier. Verte can also be used with Super Polymerization.

7. You can negate your opponent with Loading... , then before they enter the Battle Phase, you can activate Loading... to reduce the ATK of all non-Fusion Monsters to 0. At the end of the turn the effect of Loading... returns all ATK values to their original value, which will reset the ATK of Loading... , allowing you to reuse all of her negates. There are ways your opponent can play around this, like not playing a monster, but you can counter them by having your own monster on the field. Loading... is indestructible because of Loading... , untargetable because of Loading... , and is immune to battle destruction because 0 ATK Monsters can’t destroy other 0 ATK Monsters by battle.

Condemned Darklord Follow-up: [Any 2 Fairy Monsters + Despia, Theater of the Branded]

1. With any 2 Fairy Monsters on your field, you can Link summon Loading... , then activate its effect to discard 1 card and search for Loading... .

Deck Overview

Condemned Darklord utilizes Loading... in the form of an additional starter, enabling greater consistency and providing access to Loading... . Generally, this deck aims to summon Loading... during the opponent’s turn with the help of Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... , and then using the effect of Loading... to set up a board wipe via Fusion Summoning Loading... . This is a devastating combo that will often win you duels, but even when this can’t be accomplished, the deck can still fall back on general Darklord lines, filling the GY with disruptive Traps and supportive Spells to interrupt the opponent or extend plays further.

Tech Glossary

A great hand-trap overall, works well in particular with reasoning since it’s a hand-trap you can play that won’t be summoned, so reasoning will continue to mill cards.

Can help boost consistency, but Darklords don’t really like to be banished.

Both can be summoned by Condemned Witch during your opponent’s turn to lock them out of Special Summoning.

Deck Overview

Agents Darklords is a combo heavy oriented deck that fuses two game-plans in one resulting in an oppressive endboard of Loading... and negates in the form of Loading... and Loading... with Loading... target protection and extender capabilities. The deck excels at swarming the field with Loading... wich can be used for multiple extra deck summons at the cost of paying a big portion of your life points. Finally Loading... and Loading... give draw power and board presence respectively but you can cut them from the decklist for other options, the real important darklord cards in the deck are Loading... , Loading... and Loading... .
