Hello! This is a Markdown guide by
. Markdown is a markup language used to format the articles seen on the website. It's easy to add italics and bold text, for emphasizing certain points. Some of the options here are part of vanilla Markdown, while others are part of a custom set of extensions exclusive to DuelLinksMeta. Before we begin, note the Hovers and Preview options in the top right. These are used to toggle info hovers and show a full-width preview of your article, respectively.
Two basic elements often used in articles are lists and links, which we can write like this:
- I got Top 8 in Meta Weekly #106.
- Our first article was: Box Review: The Ultimate Rising.
For links like this, use the search modal in the top right. From this page only, article results in the search modal will have an extra button to copy links for use in this editor.
Ordered lists are also possible:
- Activate Loading... to banish Loading... .
- Use Roar's effect to special summon Loading... .
- Normal summon Loading... .
- Synchro summon Loading... and search for a follow-up play in either Loading... or Loading... .
Card hovers like the ones in this list are a nice feature for readers, and can be used for both cards and skills, like Loading... and . Notice that skill hovers always start with an "!":
- Loading... (card)
- (skill)
Other types of hovers are availble too:
- Character hovers, for both Standard Duelists like and Legendary Duelists like .
- User profile hovers like , which can be created with the
Find users...tool above.
A common place for user hovers to appear is in quotes:
