Introduction:

Lunalight is the deck of Serena from the fusion dimension in Arc-V. The archetype is composed entirely of Beast-Warriors, with all of them being DARK Attribute, except for the two Pendulum monsters which are instead LIGHT.

Despite Konami intending Lunalight to be a fusion archetype, its most powerful use is as a generic engine for Xyz and link Summons as thanks to Lunalight Tiger, it is capable of producing many lvl 4 DARK Beast-Warrior effect monsters to use as material.

Core Cards:

Lunalights:

Lunalight Kaleido Chick
The default normal Summon as a soft once per turn, Kaleido Chick has the ability to send a Lunalight monster from the main or Extra Deck to the GY as a cost for the effect of treating her name as that sent monster if she is used for a fusion Summon. Her other effects are not terribly useful, but if she is banished, Chick's last effect can stop the opponent from activating any cards or effects during the battle phase.

The main monster to send to the GY with Chick's ability is Lunalight Yellow Marten.

Lunalight Yellow Marten
On a hard once per turn, while in the hand or GY, Marten can return a Lunalight card to the hand to Special Summon herself, but she is then banished if she leaves the field. Additionally, if sent to the GY by a card effect, she can search a "Lunalight" spell/trap.

The most common target to return to hand with Marten's effect is Lunalight Tiger.

Lunalight Tiger
The whole reason this deck functions. While in the pendulum zone, on a SOFT once per turn, she can Summon a Lunalight from the GY but it has its effects negated and can't attack and dies at end of turn. Additionally, on a hard once per turn, if she is destroyed, her monster effect allows Summoning a Lunalight monster from the GY without negating its effects.

Since putting a Pendulum monster in hand face-up into the pendulum zone is an unrestricted action, returning Tiger to hand allows her pendulum effect to be activated multiple times in one turn to reSummon multiple Lunalight monsters.

Lunalight Serenade Dance
This card has two useful properties, although neither one justifies running more than one copy of this card. First, it is a valid target for Lunalight Yellow Marten since it is a "Lunalight" trap card. While this does not sound very exceptional, it is an important distinction. Additionally, while in the GY, this card can banish itself to send a card from hand to GY as effect and Summon a Lunalight from the deck.
Luna Light Perfume
Yes, that's right, "Luna Light". A singular space stops this card from being part of the Lunalight archetype and being searchable by Lunalight Yellow Marten. Although, in return this card lacks any form of restriction, allowing both of this card's wonderful effects to be used multiple times per turn.

If played from the hand, it "Monster Reborns" a Lunalight monster. While in the graveyard, the card can banish itself and discard a card as cost to search a "Lunalight" monster from the deck.

Lunalight Emerald Bird
While not extremely useful and therefore not mandatory, Emerald Bird still has useful effects and can be used as a 1-of. If Summoned, she can send a "Lunalight" card from hand to GY as effect to draw 1 card.

If Emerald Bird is sent to the GY by effect, she can, on a hard once per turn, Summon a different Lunalight monster from the graveyard but negates its effects.

Not Lunalights:

These cards are also part of the core, since they are extremely important for consistently finding Lunalight Kaleido Chick and Lunalight Tiger which are both required for a combo.

Fire Formation - Tenki
On activation, searches any lvl 4 or lower Beast-Warrior from deck. Since it is a continuous spell, however, it is vulnerable to destruction effects that can be chained to its activation, such as Mystical Space Typhoon.
Foolish Burial Goods
Sends a spell/trap from deck to GY, most commonly Luna Light Perfume.

Additional Engines:

Lunalight itself is a powerful engine, but it can use some help from other cards or archetypes for more consistency or extra extenders.

Raidraptors:

This is the most common engine addition, providing powerful extension during the start of the combo and giving access to an additional bounce for Lunalight Tiger in the form of Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite. This engine generally is played either one of two ways, half or full. The difference between the two stems from how many copies of Raidraptor - Force Strix are used in the Extra Deck.

While Lunalight Raidraptor is quite good (yet kinda oppressive with Kali Yuga & Scythe) against the current meta decks, Lunalight OTK is very based and fun to play when uninterrupted. Thanks for the comprehensive guide. 💙

There is a section for the Lunalight Leo Dancer variant down in the "Win Conditions" deck variations section under "The Fusions (OTK)".
