Introduction to Tri Brigade

Introduction

Tri-Brigade is an archetype from the secret pack Echo Chamber Nation.

The deck revolves around banishing Beast, Winged-Beast and Beast-Warrior type or more commonly referred to as Tri-Type monsters by the community from your GY to special summon a link monster with the LINK rating equal to the number of cards you have banished. This attribute is shared in every monster the deck has.

This archetype has plays that can branch off to multiple paths and is easy to pick up but hard to master. Therfore with a low skill floor and a high skill ceiling, it is one of the best archetypes for beginner duelists and competitive duelists.

Players can choose to supplement the Tri-Brigade Strategy with a number of archetypes that are Tri-Type to their liking. One of the most popular of these archetypes in the game is Zoodiac. This engine from the secret pack Those Who Stand Against Kings allows you to XYZ summon a Zoodiac monster by overlaying into any Zoodiac monster once per turn.

Zoodiac cards allow you to put link materials in the GY for your Tri-Brigade monsters fast and provide a way to go second, provide disruption or a plan B versus Maxx "C" if needed.

Tri-Brigade

Tri-Brigade Fraktall x3

One of the most essential cards in the deck. It can send any level 3 or lower tri-types to your graveyard when sent from field or hand. This monster is your main starter for the deck and it is a must run. It synergies really well with other tri-brigade cards which we will get to later on in this article.

Tri-Brigade Nervall x3

Another member of the tri-brigade archetype, this one is a winged beast that searches for a tri-brigade monster other than itself when sent to your GY. You can use it to search your main combo pieces like Loading... or use its effect when linked off to chain block important cards you want to make sure they resolve.
