Battle Trajectory is the latest Selection Pack to be released in Master Duel, featuring the brand new Scareclaw and Vaylantz archetypes, as well as new supporting cards for Odd-Eyes and Pendulum Strategies! Here's a quick rundown of the newly released cards, some sample decks, and combo guides to get you started!

Scareclaw

Scareclaw is a Link-focused deck that swarms the field and grants the boss monster Loading... the ability to perform lethal plays going second or controlling the field going first. The deck is playable at release due to the early arrival of TCG set Power of the Elements which gives the deck an extremely potent monster in Loading... . Despite not being competitive, players have been enjoying Scareclaw in spite of its relatively high cost. The deck can currently be played pure, or alternatively with a Tri-Brigade engine.

Vaylantz

Designed with a tabletop game theme both aesthetically and mechanically, Vaylantz is a very difficult to play Pendulum archetype centered around moving your monsters around the field to activate their powerful effects. With good consistency and the ability to play Loading... , Vaylantz is rarely without a play to make. The game plan at this point involves searching Loading... to Summon Loading... while also setting up multiple monster negates. While Vaylantz is not competitive, there are many available resources to learn the deck, and a lot of players trying to learn the deck.

Performapal / Odd-Eyes

Both Odd-Eyes and Performapal received support in Battle Trajectory, with the deck being an amalgamation even moreso than it previously was. The addition of the new Performapal monsters allows for a variety of new Extra Deck plays including access to boss monsters like Loading... and Loading... , while the new Odd-Eyes card gives the deck an additional negate. Much like the other decks, the competitive viability is still low, but the cards have been warmly welcomed by both Performapal and Odd-Eyes players.
