The fact that D.D dynamite ftk which only wins going first is a playable strategy in a bo3 format shows that the 2 deck system is not a replacement for best of 3 with siding and is just a way to make 3 separate best of 1s. This format should definitely not have been implemented from all the tournaments I watched. Being able to side a strategy for just going first or second is a very unfair advantage.
The fact that D.D. Dynamite is consistent enough for the wait to go first methodology to work is honestly offensive. Could you be more toxic than playing Dynamite and Eldlitch?
While I agree with the sentiment towards the game, NAMBIRI is NOT toxic. He/she simply beat the meta, it's not his/her fault for playing within the rules.
Ok, I will yield that the player isn’t toxic, he just broke the beta of Dkayed’s rules. The decks were and are very toxic
It's not even the game, it's the fact that rather than side deck dkayed makes a 2 deck format where no reasonable person would make another deck just for dynamite.
Considering it’s all 20 minute duels, I actually like the two deck format rather than watching the same duel 2-3 times with side decks. But they might need to axe the “choose to go first if you” rule or agree to alternate or something.
