Notes & Combos

Pure Zoodiac is a handtrap-based control deck that likes to go second and can play off of one card combos. I really like the deck for this reason as it makes it really reliable, as it's not only blind second, so win or lose the coin toss it doesn't matter, but I also can use all my cards, discard with droplet, and just the normal summon of a single thoroughblade can spell the end of the duel for my opponent.

It's a deck that punishes oppressive boards with its two main bosses - one which is an unaffected tower, and the other which just board wipes 2-3 (even potentially 4) times. I like the nature of this deck, being mostly reliant on skill in both deck building and gameplay, rather than luck, coin toss, draw probability, etc. Which are not in your control, and can play through just anything

This version of the deck is optimised to deal with what you'd expect to meet on ladder; a range of decks, from Floowandereeze and Eldlich all the way to combo heavy adventure tenyi. The main difference in this deck to others is lightning storm, and it surprisingly put in a lot of work in meta match ups too. It's just annoying when tenki is your only face up card and you can't LS! Other than that however the deck is very customisable and allowing a variety of engines to be added in, such as Sky Striker, Eldlich and Brave-DPE.

Thank you very much . Your decklist make me to D1 , I add some adventurer engine to help destroy board too and it easily searched by small world (zoo -> belle -> water enchantress)

-Shifter and psy-frame are very strong handtrap even though this format has floowandereze but it can easily to kill heavy combo deck and shifter protect you from maxx c but sometime it very annoying cant make drident 1 turn -Excellent ratio 43 cards. 8 zoos + 3 tenki but i decrease handtraps to 16 and add some card like TTT for go second . -I dont like nibiru in this format because adventurer tenyi can easily make fleur before 5 summons , floowandereze only use 3 sommons(4 for statue) ,floodgate deck so i dont use it.

Happy to help. Yeah I was a bit conflicted on what handtraps to use. I was considering ghost ogre which hits the field spell against floo and is great in adventure match ups. However I was a bit low on URs so I didn't craft it. Even still though the one Nibiru, whilst many times a dead card, has overall served me well; when it's not usable I can use it for small world or droplet. I couldn't try adventure variant either because I have no spare URs atm. The ratio is something I've also something I was weighing in on, I ended up cutting one skull meister and made it 42, but idk if I should have added in another zoo. As for handtraps I run them in a high ratio as I've found in combo heavy meta preventing your opponent from building their board is much easier than breaking it, especially with the recent crossout limit (which is the best hit imo!). Speaking of which, I'd add 1 whiptail and 1 small world in place of a copy of tenki and pot of P each due to banlist (yea pot of P was a very unfortunate hit but what can we do :/)
