Notes & Combos

This is a going first code talker deck. Full combo is extra link iblee lock. Short combo is firewall iblee lock.

I normally only play 2 lady debug because it is very fragile to hand traps, but in this meta there are a lot of decks not on hand traps and it doesn't get punished nearly as much, so I decided to play the 3rd to end on better boards more consistently.

This deck has a pretty good match-up against Runick going first. When you extra link everything is untargetable except for balelynx and short combo ends on transcode, excode, firewall, iblee, which they have a problem outing.

Red Reboot is played because the deck needs help against floodgates.

Shootingcode is played because there are match-ups like floowandereeze where you need to search code radiator to deal with the board. Also it has an important combo with Scrypton to put back the second code talker when you do the double code talker combo to search iblee off of codec to use as follow-up on turn 3.

Lancea is played because it is good against a lot of match-ups and it protects against cosmic cyclone.

I've been playing code talkers on duel links and I enjoy them so much I wanna learn how too play them more in depth so ima pinch this list and have some fun congrats on diamond 1! The problem with code talkers in duel links is that you can easily end with a decode talker pointing too a monster with crosswipe code talker alive and ice dragon prison (or whatever generic back.row you have) but once you've used all your back row if your opponent manages too play through it all you are pretty screwed as they don't have much options for follow up plays :( really looking forward to learning the combos and watching ya replays when I get home! Love link decks they are just so much fun and I'm in love with code talkers!
