Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

New to This Season

Barrier Statue is banned. Oh no! Anyway play Apex Avian.

Decks are fairly typical on Ladder. A lot of 60 card Grass builds so pack your Ash/GY removals. More Special Summon monster-centric decks so Veiler/Imperm/Droplet/DRNM is good. Floo are less played on Ladder which was TB LL’s worst matchup, so early climbing with this deck is not as difficult.

Deck Weakness

This deck has 3 weakness: Bricking, Maxx C and Droll. None of which are exclusive to TB LL, but playing under Maxx C is particularly more difficult than Branded.

Deck Strength

Good combo potential, good board breaking potential, and does not suffer as much from Branded Fusion Syndrome, where an Ash ends your turn. The deck also packs interesting ways to solve weird problems (Such as being able to solve Crooked Cook Turbo or force a draw against an unwinnable board) unlike many other meta decks.

Format

This might be the best format we have had yet, if not for the absolute op-ness of branded. KONAMI pushes branded to make money to make the game better, while we enjoy playing with the same LL birds since MD’s release. Sad that Cobalt is at 2 but alas, the deck is power crept in both TCG and OCG so I am just grateful for being able to enjoy it in MD for close to a full year. I am just thankful for leaving us be.
