Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

I don't play every season, but I can safely say this was the sweatiest climb I've ever done on ladder. Decided to climb one more time before the new year for the 2022 Master Duelist title. And no, I didn't switch decks at all during my climb.

No desires, no upstart. Like a gigachad.

Gamma is good especially against link decks. Make sure to use Imperm before using Gamma, since Imperm can't activate from hand when you control cards. Also keep in mind that it shuts off your Sky Striker spells. I personally like using it just for the unpredictability factor. Might be suboptimal though.

Roze I play at 3. "No Raye no play." "Linkage when?"

Feather Duster was always a solid card, even before Runick.

Afterburners I play at 2. I normally play 1, but now we're facing Runicks.

Eagle Booster is nice for your Accesscode plays, but not strictly necessary.

Droplet for going 2nd. Chalice for going 1st.

Hayate I play at 3. I'll probably cut this to 2 when Kagari gets moved to semi-limited.

Knightmare Phoenix is good in the current meta with Runick running rampant. Just make sure to not rush it out. Time it correctly, when you've gathered all the cards you need to make the play (e.g. Widow Anchor on Hugin followed by Knightmare Phoenix on Runick Fountain. Runick is a tough matchup, but not unbeatable. Especially when your opponent makes mistakes.

Zeke I play at 2. We have 3 Widow Anchor now.
