Notes & Combos
At this point in the game, while in Diamond, I was primarily going against Adamancipator [40 + 60 card variants], Pend Magician, Floo, Labrynth, and other random decks. Generally, when going second against Adam/Pend Mag/Floo, it usually very very tough to come back, given how slow the deck is and the negates/interactions the other decks put up. Even opening Ash/Imperm against Adam/Pend Mag never seemed to do much since they always kept going. Pend since they just keep effects going like crazy and Adam since it always seemed that when I stopped them from getting Block Dragon 1 way, they either opened it, had something like Foolish Burial, or some other stuff to still make their way to it.
Otherwise, when you open alright, you can usually do decent against other decks if they don't open s/t removal / Evenly Matched while you don't have Judgment set.
I only really added Maxx C in my last 10ish games thanks to the Traptrix channel and zeroender saying so. I really don't like Maxx C.. but it did save me against a Drytron deck and maybe won my last game going second against Pend Magician. I had a giant hand while they were comboing still and then they just scooped.
Prior, I did have Iron Wall in the deck, but I did remove it, as I wasn't really seeing Runick my rank-up day. I did also remove 1 Gravedigger's and replaced it with Floodgate, as.. Gravedigger's is super dead against Pend and I drew them too many times against them.
Top Secret Packs used

I am seeing some labrynth decks playing Terrors of the Overroot, have you tried it yet and do you think it would fit in traptrix as well?

I personally haven't tried it, no. The pack it's in, while I do want the Dinomorphia cards and Overroot wouldn't be a bad addition, even before my 2 10x pulls, I already had all the Swordsoul cards I'd need, as well as the Despia fusions, so it'd be a 3 in 13 chance to get something I'm looking for.
As for the card itself, even if I had it, I'm not sure how much I'd play it. I can see the strengths of it as it doesn't destroy and can hit s/t cards that you can just pop with a Sera proc into Myrm after using it. Just against things like Branded, unless if you can stop what they were doing to start with, it doesn't seem like it'd be great going first or second. If you go first, what are you sending to the grave? Aluber? Lubellion? Mirrorjade? If you are going second, it doesn't seem strong enough to potentially get by a Chimera pop of the backrow [if you don't have Called By/Ghost Belle or something to stop Branded in Red].
As for other decks, I can see it being not that horrible, but at the same time Compulsory feels like it'd be easier to use more often than not. I could be totally wrong, however, with Konami making it an UR.. it doesn't really push me to want to even try it. Same kind of goes for the Z-ARC engine, as both Z-ARC and Souls are URs, so you'd need at least 3 there, alongside if you didn't have the mons for the ED to summon out.
Maybe if you ran something like Macro/D Shifter/Fissure and your opponent had something the grave before you go to use Overroot. Then, if you used it on a monster, the monster would be banish, however, since it never went to the graveyard, you wouldn't set something on the field. That's neat at least. Same thing with a pend mon, it'd go to the ED, but you wouldn't set anything.. however, with both Pend Magician and Endymion.. I feel like it wouldn't be enough to do anything worth it.
