I may have gotten diamond 1 in 3 days with virtual world but this was brutal. i failed 5 d2 to d1 rank-up matches in a row due to bricks. i hate this game.
This is my take on the spell canceller build that got 6th place in the december duelist cup. Even if your opening hand is mediocre, you can always make a 3-interruption endboard of chuche, snow, and baronne. With any decent opening hand (i.e. any starter + kauwloon / nyannyan), you can choose between two good endboards: (1) baronne summoning canceller + chuche + riser sending snow + riser synchroing with snow ON YOUR OPPONENT'S TURN for dragster, or (2) baronne + chuche + beatrice sending snow + dragster/chengying.
If you do open the nuts, you can end on (1) pairen summoning spell canceller, (2) baronne, (3) shooting riser sending snow, which (4) synchros with snow on your opponent's turn to make dragster, and (5) chuche. insane. for turn 3, make chengying to banish what few cards your opponent has left and swing for game.
This build hard counters runick, heavily counters despia (fallen of albaz's fusion effect can turn the tables on you), and even consistently prevents adamancipator and dragon link from setting up, but has an awkward matchup into swordsoul if you attempt to summon canceller without making pairen.
