Notes & Combos

Visited zoodiac after a while because all my other decks were getting clapped, and I forgot how much I love this deck. Being a competent blind second deck that can reliably go first aswell, is a control deck, and doesn't have to sit through 15 min combos as your average opening hand of 3 interruptions should end their turn, on the spot usually - truly, what more can one ask for?

The recent addition of ultimate slayer has done a lot for the deck. It takes the place of droplet ,which would usually have to discard handtraps or board breakers, which was not very efficient. Slayer also is a good blowout card vs despia as it rids them of their mirrorjade without triggering the floating effect or giving them the revive. Ofcourse, they'll usually chain branded in red if they get the chance, but it still does trade pretty well due to the Ntss activating on a separate chain link. For the despia matchup tho, people suggest playing fossil warrior skull knight instead, as it can get rid of mirrorjade after being summoned by libitum, while ntss can only take out dracostapelia or any other fusion summoned off it. Ntss is more versatile tho so I've made the choice to keep it instead.

Of course, there are a few caveats. In a diverse meta, with specific matchups, this anti-meta deck can only prepare for so many matchups. Hence why I made the choice of not including any anti runick techs, so 90% of the time I lose unfortunately.
