idea is pretty simple: play swordsoul stuff, bait negates with it / make chixiao + baronne, then do VW stuff. your bottleneck (aside from what cards you opened) is your normal summon, so take care to not use it on a VW monster if you have e-tele / kauwloon in hand. emergence is a one-card combo starter: search taia, use its effect to banish emergence, then summon chixiao to search longyuan OR use emergence's banish effect to make taia level 5, letting you summon shenshen instead.

the synergy between VW and SS is decent. mo ye and longyuan are live much more often than not: jiji and lili are wyrm-type. also, if you have a synchro (chixiao usually) on the field already, emergence will let you search jiji or lili to access your VW combos if you opened qinglong / kauwloon with no other VW name.

yazi is an amazing tool going second. it's fairly easy to make: mo ye / taia + lulu, or swordsoul token + jiji. yazi can pop itself to grab a wyrm from your deck -- usually the level 4 swordsoul you have not yet used this turn. from there you can make baxia to spin your opponent's cards off the field OR chixiao to search / negate OR, if you summoned taia, you can make shenshen!

because the VW and swordsoul engines require so many cards, this deck accepts the need to run an oversized deck and mitigates the lack of consistency by running THREE pot of desires.

remember, this is a VW deck with a splash of SS. your end goal is still VFD.
