Notes & Combos
After playing of the slight variations of VW at this point and I decided to main this version as strictly focused on the goal of having as many playable hands as possible and avoid the typical VW bricking. Notably cutting Maxx C which I went back and forth on over and over.
When you brick with the deck it's almost always because you draw too many hand traps going first or off Desires, Stardust, etc. or when you're looking for an additional VW name to full combo outside of VFD + Chuche.
This version of the deck admittedly loses to unbreakable boards going second, because there's no Droplet-like cards in the build. But if you can bait properly you can make it work with the amount of plays you have with this list.
Foolish Burial Goods and Metalfoes Fusion are amazing in this deck, especially together. Foolish Goods unbricks a typically lower end hands, and at worst you can mill MF Fusion for a free draw and thin your deck. Ghost Ogre is obviously the biggest flex spot, but it's a lvl 3 E-tele target and good vs SwordSoul and certain problematic cards.
The other cards that I would rotate in are DRNM, Triple Tactics Talent, the full Crossout package, and of course Maxx C. There's little wiggle room within the VW constraints that you must make tough cuts. And at least for me I went with an all gas no brakes version rather than maining board breakers, if MD wasn't Best of 1 I would build this completely different.
