Notes & Combos
Months of having this deck pre built before cosmic ocean I can finally play this deck at full power. The combo is versatile depending on what you have in your hand but usually you want to end up with a argonaut protected by crystal heart or with toadally awesome on the field. Unfortunately there is two big cons I found out while playing this deck:
Con#1- Just like @ignister, all it takes is one kaiju to ruin your field. Sometimes you are even force into a lava golem cause your opponent activates lightning storm so naturally you negate it with argonaut which special summons a equipped monster and now with two monsters on the field you are open to a lava golem.
Con#2-Marincess wave is the only good trap which leads to less spicy techs from the archetype. Looking at different marincess decks on this website you will see not much changes except the number of handtraps for more consistency cards.
But despite that don't let my personal feelings with the deck distrait you from the fact that the deck is solid and was on the tier list at one point. This means it's easily diamond 1 and tournament worthy. Overall I give this deck a 7.5/10 and who knows maybe konami will make better marincess traps and a field spell that actually has built in protection so you don't have to waste a negate to protect it.
P.S Konami please give argonaut a summoning animation.Put some respect on that boss monster.
