Prerequisites

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

This really felt like another Subterror deck. I Normal Summon some central monster that searches every turn that relies on a Field Spell... and one particular Trap backs me up every turn, which happens to also counter Skill Drain. Sounds familiar... This was a pretty tough climb, but I really only lost to myself bricking sometimes, or my opponent opening a hand that countered me too quickly too early on.

Tips:

  • Ocean Dragon Lord sending the opponent's field away does NOT activate. Take advantage of the fact they can't chain to it. As soon as you activate Legendary Ocean, even before the chain link resolves, Ocean Dragon Lord immediately applies.
  • Put up Jellyfish + Umi before you activate Fish Sonar if you open that kind of hand, so that you protect yourself from Ash.
  • Against Swordsoul, be wary that they could use Ashuna/Vishuda from the hand, and that a Lv7 Tenyi + a Swordsoul Token = Lv10 Chengying.
  • Against Branded Despia, hold off on Jellyfish until you can negate Branded Fusion. You negate "the effect", so they can't activate another one that turn.
  • Icejade Tremora is the alternate Lv5+ WATER search target for when you don't open Umi, so that you can at least special summon Ocean Dragon Lord from hand to get started that way.
