Notes & Combos
I always go 2nd with this. Didn't use generic hand traps and floodgates as it clogs the deck (even more).
Replays during the Platinum to Diamond V climb:
- Against Fossil: https://youtu.be/fHU9AZwjQ2s
- Against IDS-DPE: https://youtu.be/nCGaYwMbPA4
- Against Cyberse Combo: https://youtu.be/WfydF2tWr-g
Alternative engine I used during the climb (Charmer + Sky Striker Engine):
- Against Swordsoul + Tenyi: https://youtu.be/LALEV4IQke0
And of course, I've had many losses too:

- Against Plant Combo: https://youtu.be/f4_7oXskXBQ
Disclaimer: Just like with the other decks I always use, this one is inconsistent too because I combine archetypes and/or types that have synergy with one another. I played a Fortune Lady + Magician Girl before and managed to snag some wins during the past season but it's almost a 90% lose rate against the meta in late Platinum ranks. Although, Quintet Turbo with that was fun.
It took a lot of patience (and a whole month) for me to climb with this one on my Spellcasters-type account. Sometimes, you just gotta take the "lose more" approach and be good to other matchups as long as you're loving the deck you play. If you want to "win more" and that's your level of satisfaction in YGO then just play meta decks, easy as that. 😎
P.S. You can add whatever hand traps and floodgates you want. However, this is how I enjoy climbing with ExoCharmer.

Recommended floodgates:
- Rivalry of Warlords & Summon Limit: Win the coin flip and unga bunga.
- Secret Village: It's a double-edged sword and is usually good in Turn 1 plays.
- Soul Drain & Skill Drain: If you're unskilled and wanna be oppressive ✌
Generic board breakers:
- Droplet/DRNM/Evenly Matched: Can replace Possessed traps
- Magicalized Fusion + Quintet: Hard to pull off but works well with Grass & Verte
Other non-competitive compatible archetypes with Charmer:
- Magistus: Turn 1-oriented deck with Zoroa as a floodgate
- Dogmatika: The usual engine trio play (Ecclesia/Fleur/Maximus) plus Nadir and Punishment
- Gravekeeper's: Mixed with Charmers, it can be a floodgate-oriented deck that doesn't end up on using only 3 specific monsters on the field and can be quite good with Dogmatika too.
- Witchcrafter: Possessed Partnerships works well with Grass. Awakening of the Possessed boosts little yet additional damage to Witchcrafters with diff. attributes when coupled with Verre.

Thank you for the deck! Also for the detailed description, suggestion and videos, i'm new to yugioh, so it helps a lot!
I'll work on building it, but i noticed there's 14 cards on the extra deck, do you have a recommendation for the 15th card? Or is there a reason that i don't know for 14 cards instead of 15?

Welcome. Hope it helps. However, this one is inconsistent and not that competitive against the current meta as I mixed it up with Exosisters. If you want a Flip Charmer version or a Floodgate one or an Adventure-Charmer build, the Charmer channel in Discord offers some suggestions in the pins or ask the deck helper in the channel. Charmers are versatile and quite fun to play on different builds.
Sorry, I forgot to include Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians. It's the Link-3 needed to climb into Accesscode Talker from the Link-2 Charmers. ✌️ Knightmare Unicorn (and some other Link-3 monsters) can work too but I prefer Selene as it's easier to summon.
