Notes & Combos

Getting to Diamond was pretty stressful with this deck in current meta and I wouldn’t really recommend it, but since nibiru play has gone down it’s got a better chance and is possible. You mainly want to go for standard Kali Yuga combo if going first, but going second is much harder, and most likely will lose.

For going 2nd: Sometimes people misplay or you can bait their negates to go for Raider’s Knight->Arc Rebellion combo after, or could try to play for indestructible armor master sometimes if you think they aren’t running Underworld Goddess or Kaijus, but other than that you mainly want to just go Kali Yuga combo 90% of the time if possible.

Maxx C and Nibiru is still the biggest threat going 1st for this deck, and sometimes you can take the maxx C challenge and still be fine as long as you can get Kali Yuga out, and you can Djinn Buster before your 5th summon using Harmattan + Harmattan or gust + Harmattan for nibiru. Also things to watch out for are Rusty Bard getting handtrapped. If Wise Strix gets handtrapped it is still fine since rusty + silent boots can still grab both rank up cards.

The other big threats to this deck in this current meta (Season 13) I’ve faced are Super Polymerization, Runick destruction, dimension shifter, and Zeus, but most of the time if you can get Kali Yuga out it will be GG.
