I chose to play 60 cards because within Rose Tenyi, there are innately going to be bricks that you must play. To get around this, running at a higher number will prevent them from clogging your hand as often. Just because of the way Tenyi work, there's not really a consistency drop in moving up to 60 cards
There are some things in my deck that I do have to explain. 1st, I only own 2 Ash Blossom. 2nd, my Yang Zing number is high because I have awful luck with them and I appreciate the ability to flex into different things via Denglong. The counter trap is unnecessary, but if your hand truly blew, you need it in order to set up a 3 negate board with Borreload/Baronne, Herald, and a YZ+trap. Also I have horrible luck with a smaller PUNK engine. Should go 2 Ze Amin, 1 Foxy Tune, 1 Spider, 1 Gabu but my luck's absolutely horrible when doing so! BRD + Quantum are flex spots in extra
tldr: you're Halq turbo. Halq into Auroradon via 001/Jet. Summon tokens. Get 001 back. Things diverge from there depending on what you've drawn and if the opponent has anything on board
Generally speaking, a solid play from there involves Auroradon tribute token + itself, get OLion. OLion Denglong. Denglong search so Denglong pitch Vishuda/Ashuna. Get a token. Make Baronne. Summon Bi'an. Make Yazi. Pop Yazi with Baronne. Get Taia/Mo Ye. Make the sword soul synchros.
Btw Tetherwolf lets you do extensions into dumb stuff because O-Lion has a 2nd effect, so you get a lv7 body+lv3 token if you draw it.
