It's the only link 1 BBW meaning you can make it even if you have only 1 tri-beast in the grave. For example if your hand is Fraktall + Nervall then previously, an Ash on your Fraktall ended your turn. Now you can banish the one Fraktall with Nervall to make Light Heart then link Nervall and Light Heart into Ferrijt, Nervall adds another Tri-brigade, summon that Tri-brigade with Ferrijit, banish Nervall + Light Heart for Bearbrumm, and now you have either Mirrorjade or Apollousa + Revolt through an Ash instead of passing on nothing.

Sun Mou summons 2 beast-warrior bodies on the field. Essentially Sun Mou + any other tri-beast monster is full tri-combo (Mirrorjade, Revolt, Mercourier, Draw 2, Double Dragon Lords/Apollousa).

It can also play around handtraps better than Rescue Cat since you can send something like a Nervall or Kitt to grave to trigger Sun Mou's effect which means you still get either the Sun Mou or Nervall/Kitt effect through a handtrap instead of nothing like if Cat gets handtrapped.

The Ancient Warrior package has more application going second because you can bounce a monster back to hand after summoning Zhuge Kong. Most notably you can summon Zhuge Kong under the wind barrier statue and be able to bounce back that or empen, and Sun Mou is a water attribute meaning you can summon Zhuge Kong as your one non-water against Umi control and bounce their Kairyu-shin.
