Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

So far, this season has been the worst one in a while for myself. Within the first week, after 40~ games, I was still stuck in Plat 5/4. I did try out an entirely new deck for 4-5 games, but besides that, things such as Floo/Branded kept just getting everything they needed, even when I might have had a chance to do something since I opened Imperm/Ash. Alongside that, due to some irl stuff, while I was keeping a record list again, to even think about trying to hit max rank, I've dropped doing so this season.

I think it took me at least 100 games to get to Diamond 5 this season.. Things such as Pend/Branded going first just hurt too much imo and with how this deck is, it's hard to make it past the next turn with what they put up. Never mind dealing with normal Floo stuff.

Originally, I had IDP in the deck instead of 2 Dimensional Barrier, however, after getting frustrated with Branded seemingly always opening Branded Opening/Branded Fusion/Aluber while I wasn't opening Ash/Imperm to stop it, I added those in. Even on the chances I used Fleur to negate Aluber.. my opponent just so happened to open Super Poly lol

Given the issues I ran into while in Plat, I'm not sure if I'll make Diamond 1 this season, however, since we had someone else on the site make it this time, I'll at least keep it in mind as something to go for.
