Enemy Controller is cool in this deck. You get to trigger your tribute effects on the opponent's without needing Soiree Operations, Nibiru, Baldrake or Biancaviso to trigger them, and then you can try tributing over the monster you took before you return in during the End Phase to effectively act as removal.
I would've played F&tV but it's banned. This was a fun tech to use though.
Playing Bystials felt nice for the amount of Cydra and HERO in the event, but also their levels sometimes pair nicely when you need to tribute summon as a last resort, without strictly needing Biancaviso in rotation.
