Notes & Combos
The "Ancient Warriors" are surprisingly strong board-breakers, mainly because so many of its monsters demand responses from your opponent. The deck is quite consistent since Sun Mou and Liu Xuan are hand fixers, each trading any unneeded card for whichever "Ancient Warriors" monster you're missing.
Guan Yun is like a Cyber Dragon on steroids. Not only does it destroy an opposing monster, but it also prevents your opponent from targeting other "Ancient Warriors" with Effect Veiler, Infinite Impermanance, or any targeting effect. Sun Mou's effect provides non-destruction removal (including returning your own Kaiju), and Liu Xuan can Special Summon it from the deck.
The "Ancient Warriors" are unaffected by Artifact Scythe and all GY disruption. The deck does lose hard to Nibiru the Primal Being, but it often doesn't even need 5 Summons. Almost any combination of 4 "Ancient Warriors" with unique names can attack for 8000 damage.
Floowandereeze is probably the hardest match-up, simply because we need to let them go first. Even then, Guan Yun is WIND and can Special Summon itself in Defense Position, bypassing the lockdown effects of both Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds and Floowandereeze & Empen.
