Runick is finally here and so is a HUGE boost to Time Thief's consistency and power!
Unlike most Time Thief hybrids, this build does not focus on combo - in fact, most of the time you'll have only Redoer (with Shade) and Retrograde on your board plus your other Runick cards. With enough runicks, it's possible to summon both him and perpetua, allowing for searchable GY interaction.
The idea is to disrupt your opponent with Redoer's return to deck effect (which is effective against Hugin, Mirrojade and other major threats) and the Runick toolbox. If you steal a spell card with Redoer (which is common since branded and runick are literally everywhere now) you can have extra draws for more quick plays!
From the Runick Perspective, what is Time Thief doing there? Basically Redoer is milling your opponent even faster, while Time Thief in general is allowing GY interaction, more draws and access to a counter trap. Not only that, but also Redoer's effect can bypass "you cannot banish" or "you cannot activate quick plays" floodgates. There's also the added benefit of not being a floodgate deck.
It's effective both going 1st and going 2nd! TTT and Ultimate Slayer are INSANE when their conditions are met, since you basically punish your opponent for trying to play. US also can bypass "if this card leaves the field" effects and plus by dumping something good into the GY, such as N'tss, Wind Pegasus and Ferrijit!
