Notes & Combos
While I'm not a super fan of playing floodgates really, I added in Anti-Spell to the deck to help slow down the Runick match-up. While playing, I didn't see a ton, however, I did at least see them here and there. Most of the time though, I was able to stop them with Ash/Imperm on something like Tip or Hugin. Unlike the Runick deck I saw in ranked, these ones never got out Rivalry + Skill Drain. Most of the time I saw just Gozen, which the deck can play around. Heck, one of the times, I summoned Mantis, they chained Gozen, I chained Fleur, just so I can have something that can get over their Munin and put on pressure. [I also had Ecclesia in hand as well]
I didn't keep a full record of all my games from level 10-20, however, I did end on a 17-3 record in my last 20 games where it was even enough with coin flips. I think I might have run into a few more tails than heads, but during the low ranks, I kept getting heads, so it evens things out.
Match-up wise, going second against Pend/Swordsoul/Branded/Grass decks/Adamancipator and the like is still horrible. In those games, you just hope you open Ash/Imperm and that's enough. Luckily, I didn't really see Evenly Matched, so Anti-Spell was essentially another backrow protector.
I think this time around, the only times I was annoyed with the deck besides drawing too many monsters was one game, where I couldn't find any starters [trix/ecc/prison] and Labrynth was able to get going and opening Fleur against non-ED decks.
