Notes & Combos
I struggled a bit on ladder this season floating from M4 to M2 with a few different decks (Dracotail/VSK9/Crystron K9) before finally trying this deck out. It's cracked. Felt so much better than those other decks besides maybe dracotail.
It can play through most handtraps with ease going first and has 16 HTs including some high value ones in purge/orange light that really help going second. It can play through established boards at times too. The solfa cards feel so strong here your opponent has to respect them due to their omni and body spamming that by the time they're done your yummy cards can easily take over. Almost no dead hands with 16 1c starters plus a few 2c starters with time maiden + HT.
That said, this deck is fairly tricky to play. I messed up locks constantly. Gotta be mindful of Snatchy's link 3 lock (Fancy Ball is amazing here) and purge's lock on dark/fire for Elf/IP/Fancy/SP. You definitely have to set your purges if you go first with your full board.
Always tried to end on Elf+IP+Herald and a Yummy synchro when possible, but didn't mind much if I had to revive the synchro with elf/surprise. Solfa link3 is bonus points.
I believe this, Dracotail, and Ryzeal Mitsurugi are the top decks right now. K9 variants have potential but are too inconsistent. Highly recommend this deck iI enjoyed it
