DARKLORD PURE — SEASON 56

• Newly added Darklord support gives a much needed power boost, allowing you to have more room for handtraps and board breakers etc. Fallen Angel In Darkness is one of the key cards for the grind game since it can bring back a banished Darklord, and can also be used in dire situations to survive the turn. Forbidden Crown can be an alternate wincon if used on a weak monster in attack position, since this deck is capable of having well over 10,000+ atk on the field with the help of Morningstar's tribute summon effect. The second copy of Darklord Eveningstar does come up in the grind game, where the use of Darklord Dance in GY returns to the deck, giving you the possibility to use it again.
• Link2 Moon can be used to chain-block your Gulgolet GY effect instead of going into Mirage Herald immediately if you suspect an interruption like Ash, as well as being able to force interruptions from the opponent. Once Moon is in the GY you can summon Majesty Hyperion where you can banish a valuable card in their GY in niche situations. If you already have access to the standard Darklord combo then you can use the Kambi line (Kambi > Nightshade > Colchica > Nightshade + Colchica = 2 Fairies) to bait those interruptions with Moon before you get to your Darklord plays. Majesty Hyperion is also another Lv6+ Dark Fairy material for making Darklord Eveningstar / The First Darklord.
• Super Poly targets in the Extra Deck are flexible, can be whatever you want as long as they're usable against the current meta.
• Use FnV on your own cards such as Djehuty to avoid targeting effects. Remember to send Albion when it's your turn so that you can set another, where Dogma is sent on their turn for the final FnV. Sending Ecclesia can also bounce back a problematic card from the field, a very valuable effect for finishing a duel.
