Notes & Combos
I tend to only run up to M5. This list is very similar to what I played, competitvely, in TCG when the deck came out there. You don't NEED Inori which I see people playing. Inori is something VSK9 began playing post support / limitations to core engine pieces. You can still bridge into K9 via VS. So, I don't believe it to be necessary.
Some other things I'm doing different. The one copy of Chaotic elements. This can grab Jokul and Lantern from the deck. It's an additional starter providing addtional consistency to the deck. 1-2 copies is the sweet spot for it.
As far as the lack of masqurade. I believe the card is a win more card. I played the card in the TCG during that time and it was always the worst performing card in the extra deck - easily able to be played around / outed. The only place it really shines is the mirror which is the real argument for it in MD. Since ladder will be full of VSK9 early in the format.
I, instead, opted for c107 & c101 alongside a second copy of N.As.h knight alongside its chaos xyz form. When you slap c107 down and resolve its effect it negates all face-up cards on the field & prevents your opponent from activating cards or effects of cards on the field. c101 helps you break boards with a slightly stronger slient honor arc effect. Also opting for a second N.As.H Knight so I can resolve it twice.
This is a less standard build and forgoes a lot of the win more / floodgatey aspects the deck is currently doing on MD ladder.
