Notes & Combos
This is a slightly less consistent version of Dracotail, with a slightly better endboard/high ceiling. If you get regained set-up, this deck's grind-game is un-matched, and you will be able to extend even seemingly unwinnable games forever.
Ideal endboard is:
Seals + Lubellion, with Regained and all of your traps set, Dispater, Gulamel, Arthalion and Magnamhut in GY, with Faimena + Dracotail name + 1-2 Hand traps + Baldrake in hand.
Best starting hand is Lubellion + Cartesia + 2 dracotail names + Ash.
Veiler is fully necessary for one of the back + up combos. You'll need Veiler + any Bystial(though Lub or Saronir are preferred) + RaHu. NS Veiler- Link into spirit. Summon Bystial by banishing Veiler. If you started with Lubellion, you'll also be able to set-up regained. Make Seals, activate Rahu, then start Dracotail line.
I'm running 2 Ketu and 3 Rahu for 2 reasons: 1) this deck is over crowded and I needed the extra space and wasn't concerned about the consistency hit, and 2) You'd much rather see RaHu in your starting hand then Ketu, since you're less likely to see multiple Dracotail names in this build, and RaHu allows you to jump into the Dracotail line while comitting fewer cards from you starting hand.
Overall, this build has played better for me than pure Dracotail Cartesia, and is significantly more consistent than the Magistus variant, but that likely comes down to my own preferrences plus a bad run of luck when using the other variants.
This build is not ideal by any means, but if you enjoy mid-range control with near infinite grind game, then I would highly recommend checking it out.
