This deck is built for going 2nd, hence all of the spells for interaction in lieu of traps. This ritual archtype is a bit less consistent than megalith so the extra card helps a lot. After initially establishing board presence, the Slayer's effects will help you grind out the game. The djinn's are mainly for cards like Dinomischus, Compulse, and Mithrilium. Removal that doesn't send Slayer to grave really hurts.
