Notes & Combos
This is my LF's Salamangreat list, with which I plan to climb the ladder, as well as give to the YGO community as reference to allow them too. Salad is one of the best decks of this format, a spot shared with SS and Marin.
Main Deck Monster's core aside, which is next to solved, running 3 Phantazmay is mandatory to have any chance to survive in the ladder, as well as 3 Impermanence, Ash and Maxx C, who are just busted anywhere.
You may also notice the choice of not running Veiler, if only for the fact that, unlike Impermanence, it can be negatd by Called (as well as to keep the deck size low).
Nibiru must be run at the max number available: I just happened to only afford 1. Likewise, LStorm is a budget replacement for HFD.
I run Cynet Mining at 2 both for deck size reasons and because finding the ideal scenario for the cost, while running 10 HT, isn't always a thing.
Falco is good as Gazelle target or just cost fodder, to reset the Salad traps, and Will is a good 1-of extender.
I chose not to run Heatleo, as I would need 2 slots to optimize his shuffle, and the whole gimmick is just not worth it in my eyes.
Linguriboh is for Trap negation and Heatsoul material, Phoenix is for backrow removal and draw 1, Jammer, Splash and Transcode are for the Accesscode plays and/or freestyling, Heatsoul is only needed at one, Hiita for the mirror, Heatsoul is only needed at 1, Security is for Transcode plays, and the two Salad Links are mandatory at 3 to make basic plays.
