Notes & Combos
Welcome to the S/X event version of my Swordsoul Tenyi deck. While the overview is mostly the same, due to the lack of Links, most notably Monk, and Instant Fusion (Ansyalabolas), some of the choices for this deck are a bit different from the usual as well as the core cards.
One of these is Destrudo, who plays a key role in the making of level 7, most notably Shooting Riser, as the latter allows to avoid Nibiru by summoning a level 10 during the opponent's turn, as well as Destrudo allowing, in general, to extend through Imperm.
Nibiru is also here, and that's because its counters are next to nonexistent. I only have one.
Due to Shthana being useless, as tokens leave the game once leaving the field, I play 3 Mapura instead (for 1 less, for Circle dodges and to play through Collector thanks to Bagooska-Zeus. This, of course, comes at the cost of having to cut 1 of both Ashuna and Vishuda, but considering how we can't play Monk, it's an acceptable cost, mostly considering how the other options are either not in my possession or not good enough.
Omega, alongside Shenshen, allows to periodically cycle banished resources.
Chaofeng in particular sees a substantial buff in this event, as, due to the format, he makes advantage off the Attribute of the other decks and shuts down the most powerful one (LIGHT).
For the Mapura reasons above, I decided to make room for Bagooska-Zeus, as they are the best cards to end that line with.
