You can make this list a lot cheaper and run fewer cards. I just enjoy 60 card lists and I had a lot of staples /draw power cards on the account I played it on. Extra deck could easily be loaded up with more Zoodiac cards, but I like variety and having access to a few level 8 Xyz monsters.

Does decentl going first but 2nd is preferred as it’s built for going second and with all the draw power you can burn through the deck helping with consistency. Going first I usually just loaded up a Vespenato with mats if I had avarice in hand. With the lower power level on the event a set impermanence provided decent enough protection.

If I had more Zephyros I’d run more. It’s easy to get into the grave and it has plenty of targets to bounce back to your hand for another level 4 on the field. I was going to run double or nothing but with desires it felt like a waste if it happened to get banished. If I had trade in I would have ran more level 8s . It’s especially good with dangers as you can trigger their discard effect as well as getting 2 more cards in hand.

Chicken game came in clutch and besides it being expensive , I’m surprised it’s not ran more.(most people don’t like to read it or choose to use the draw effect when they should have destroyed it).

Very fun deck overall and led to very quick wins (granted I was in gold, but it would more than likely do fine in a higher rank).
