Want to play VW with a cute twist that actually works and isn't pure copium? In any opening hand with Kauwloon + starter or Nyannyan + starter, you can, at a minimum: (1) make Immortal Dragon, dump Mezuki, make Denglong with another level 3 non-tuner, add Nine Pillars to hand; (2) use Mezuki effect to summon Immortal back to the field, overlay for Beatrice, do Adventurer stuff; (3) Synchro with Denglong + token for Chaofeng and Gryphon + level 3 tuner (usually a revived Nyannyan) for Baronne.
Why Chaofeng? When you target and destroy it with Nine Pillars, its effect lets you add Ash to your hand for another disruption, but only if Nine Pillars was activated as CL 2. You have to make a difficult call: Is your opponent holding onto Droplet for which you have to chain Nine Pillars as CL3? Or are you willing to bet on no Droplet to get a free Ash to hand?
If you open Nine Pillars, just don't make Denglong and instead end on a Chaofeng + Adventurer board. That way, you have at least have two omni-negates + chuche + snow + you drew a card with Stardust Charge.
There are a few issues with this build, of course: (1) Mezuki in opening hand means no Denglong, (2) Yang Zing and Immortal Dragon eat up valuable Extra Deck space, (3) Yang Zing cards do nothing for you going second.
