Notes & Combos
Full deck details coming soon.
I love gem-knight and I love playing most of it's ED cards, leaning more to it's own authentic playstyles.
This deck tries to challenge the following thoughts:
- Can Gem-knight play both 1st and 2nd turn without relying to Fiendsmith cards?
- How does Mitsurugi play harmonously to gem-knight despite the no obvious synery between the two?
Some noteworhty cards that influenced the decisions of the deck build
- Crusadia Avramax - I've been looking for easy to summon turn 1 boss card for gem-knight. It needs to be resilient and punishes the opponent when both ignored and dealt with. Avramax also protects your backrow gem-knight to ensure next turn gem-knight followups. Omni negates prioritize the protection for this guy, espacialy cards like Talents.
- Spright elf, Brilliat Rose, I:P Masquerena, and Underwold Goddess - Briliant Rose helps dump gem-knights from ED as fodders for Phantom quartz 2nd eff. Spright elf duplicates this effect. I:P Masquerena summmoned after Spright Elf and facilitates the Goddess interruption combo.
- Mitsurugi cards - Sponges interactions. Extra omni negate. Multiple boardwipes. The best of all is 0 ED slot commitment.
