Do you have any basic lines of play or end goals for a turn with this deck? I'm trying it out, and I'm a little overwhelmed with the amount of choices to make.

1/3 Yeah absolutely, if you're ever wondering what to do, I basically built the deck to go into Electrumite as fast as possible. I would outline something like a specific 2 card or 3 card combo, but the reason that this deck isn't meta is that there isn't a clear best path as you are basically using the first part of your turn to set up your pendulum summon. During your turn you can sometimes draw 3 cards so it can be hard to determine the ideal play from just seeing your first 5 cards. I realize this is extremely long and I have a TL:DR at the end.

In terms of starting your turn you are planning around getting 2 pendulum monsters on board to get out Electrumite, and there are very few monsters you actually want to normal summon. You cannot assume that you are going to open one of the monsters that you "want" to normal summon, and it is overall more important that you open one of the cards that allow you to special summon a pendulum monster for free alond with any other pendulum you can normal summon. The cards that can do this are: Draco Face-Off, Abyss Actor Curtain Raiser, and Foolish Burial. Foolish and Curtain Raiser both need to be activated before you normal summon and when you activate Foolish Burial always send Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm. Technically Astrograph and Chronograph Sorcerer can also summon themselves before you summon Electrumite, but this is extremely conditional and usually relies on you setting Luster Pendulum into your pendulum scale which you never want to do, at least while it is at 1 (probably forever).

If you have it you always want to normal summon Skullcrobat (because its the only card in your deck that gets an effect exclusively from your normal summon) and what you search from it is largely dependent on the other cards in your hand. If you have either Guitartle or Lizarddraw it's a fairly safe bet to search the other, because in the process of doing so you will have your high scale set up for your eventual pendulum summon as well as drawing two cards which can potentially be either your low scale or something to get another pendulum monster on board (which if you have already normal summoned Skullcrobat is exclusively face-off). If you are already confident you either have or can get your high and low scale in combination with your Electrumite setup, pendulum sorcerer is an incredibly safe bet as it allows you to search the aforementioned Guitartle Lizarddraw setup/ another Skullcrobat for the next turn. Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon can look like a wildcard, but the only card you rally want to search off of its effect is Luster Pendulum, so keep that in mind if you are searching off of Skullcrobat as it effectively allows your normal summon to be a search of a Dracoslayer, or Darkwurm in niche cases as well. Speaking of Darkwurm, it is the second best normal summon as it allows you to search out (arguably) the best low scale in the deck, though drawing it at all is a bad sign as ideally you send it off of Foolish Burial to summon it off of its own effect before your normal summon.

Summoning and resolving the effect of Electrumite is effectively the end of the beginning of your turn. If you are aware of the typical Electrumite/ Astrograph combo you can skip this paragraph. The minimal setup to get the combo started it having two pendulum monsters on field and one in your hand or pendulum zone that you have multiple copies of in your deck. First make sure that you have the pendulum monster that you have multiple copies of in your pendulum zone, then link summon Electrumite. Then activate Electrumite's on summon effect to send

2/3 Astrograph Sorcerer. Activate Electrumite's other effect to destroy the card in your pendulum zone to add back Astrograph. After this happens Electrumite's mandatory draw one effect will activate, then you can activate Astrograph's in hand effect to summon itself and search a copy of any pendulum monster that is in your extra deck (or graveyard or banished, but this almost never comes up) that was destroyed this turn, which will usually be the monster that you destroy off of Electrumite. If the combo was conducted correctly you will have: Electrumite in the EMZ and two open main monster zones to pendulum summon into, an Astrograph on field which you can combine with Electrumite to make Selene if that is what is best at that moment, a card that you drew from your deck, and a card that you searched off of Astrograph. If you replace Astrograph with Chronograph in this combo you can achieve a very similar result but you can have a 3 material Apollousa before you pendulum summon, but I do not necessarily recommend this unless you have a game specific reason for doing so as you will have less overall cards to work with for your pendulum summon, and it is easy enough to get Apollousa out after you Pendulum summon.

After you pendulum summon is when the deck starts to get fun once you know what's up, and you can establish some boards that are respectable enough to pick up some wins against other rogue decks. For the rest of this I am going to be assuming that you have Electrumite on board. Here is a combo for if you have just summoned 4 level 4 pendulum monsters including a Luster Pendulum:

  1. Synchro summon Ignister Prominence using Luster and one of the other lvl 4s
  2. Activate Ignister's second effect to summon a copy of Master Pendulum from your deck
  3. Xyz summon Majester Paladin using the Master Pendulum and one of the other lvl 4s and activate Majester's on summon effect to search in the end phase
  4. Activate Majester's second effect to special summon Luster Pendulum from the extra deck (make sure you have a link zone free before this) by detaching Master Pendulum
  5. Tribute Luster Pendulum and the final monster that you pendulum summoned (this one doesn't need to be lvl 4 but it will make planning your plays easier if it is) to contact fusion Dinoster Power
  6. Activate Dinoster's effect to summon the Master Pendulum from your graveyard
  7. Use the Majester, Master Pendulum, and Electrumite to summon Apollousa (2400 atk)
  8. Use the Ignister and Dinoster to summon Number 38
  9. Search and pendulum monster you want during your end phase This combo is fairly basic and intuitive once you have done it, and it can be done with most of the cards in your deck so it makes up for the fact that it requires a fair few cards with the fact that you can set it up fairly easily with Electrumite/ Astrograph as well as the fact that if your Apollousa survives you will have 3 zones to summon monsters from your extra deck into during your next turn.

There are a few cards in your extra deck that can be your win conditions when summoned, and should be what you are aiming for. Ignister Prominence is the deck's boss monster, and it both extends your plays by summoning from the deck and it also has one of the best removal effects in the game while also setting up your extra deck and Astrograph/Chronograph activations. Accesscode is fairly self explanatory and is fairly easy to summon due to the fact that the deck

3/3 is focused on swarming the field and putting a link 3 on board. Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom usually ends the game if you can resolve its effects. I could write a whole article on Starving Venom, but it is situationally the best card in the deck. If you have Revolution Dragon in the graveyard, you can copy all of its effects meaning that Starving Venom will be a monster that can have up to 6800 atk and can shuffle both player's field back into the deck, usually ending the game, and allowing you to activate Electrumite's effects again if it doesn't. Speaking of activating Electrumite twice, that is usually what you will have Starving Venom do. You can copy Electrumite's effect and do the Astrograph combo again, sometimes in the same turn as Astrograph's summon and search effect is not a hard OPT. The rest of the extra deck is fairly "toolboxy," Dark Rebellion can get over big monsters, Metaphys Horus can steal monsters, even if they have protection, and the rest basically do what they would do in every other deck.

That's the long and short of it, so here's the TL:DR

  1. Always try to get 2 pendulums on board to summon Electrumite, and when you do, send Astrograph
  2. Using Guitartle+ Lizarddraw can allow you to generate more resources to either recover or setup for a big play
  3. Always try to summon Skullcrobat, and if you can't Darkwurm isn't terrible
  4. Summoning any Dracoslayer extra deck monster leads naturally into summoning all of the others, and their effects are not hard OPTs
  5. You can always try to go for powerful extra deck blowout cards to try to end the game as quickly as possible, particularly Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom
  6. Pend Best Deck.

This turned out to be way longer than I expected it to be so sorry for that, but I hope this helps. Really happy to see that people are interested in this deck and I hope others are having fun playing with it. I have been testing with this deck with the new Performapal support which just came out in the TCG as well as Beyond the Pendulum (goofy Electrumite), Monkeyboard, and the new Dracoslayers, all of which are actually good (extremely good in the case of the new Dracoslayers) and actually open up some 2 card combo options for the deck. I hope anyone that was able to endure reading all of this enjoyed.
