Notes & Combos

I designed this Marincess Deck for maximum consistency and archetype purity. It runs 24 Marincess Cards (60%), so Blue Tang and Springirl will almost always hit on excavation and mill, respectively. Having 3 copies each of Battle Ocean, Dive, and Wave means you often open with them and don't really care if any copies get banished. Don't forget that Anemone, Marbled Rock, and (on later turns) Pascalus can add these cards from your GY, so always mill with Springirl. Underworld Goddess is there specifically for a matchup against Avramax, as otherwise this deck has no outs. Be careful to avoid WATER-lock if going for her.

This deck prefers going first, but it can still win pretty frequently going second, so you're not at the mercy of the coin-flip.

Going first: Make Argonaut (using Crystal Heart as material). Equip her with Coral Anemone, but NOT Crystal Heart. When you use her Spell/Trap negate, summon Anemone. This (hopefully) sets you up for Bubble Reef on Turn 3 with Anemone resummoning Crystal Heart, so you can place her in the EMZ if your Argonaut was destroyed and she'll gain protection. Make Bubble Reef in the main MZ if Argonaut survived.

Going second: Go straight for Bubble Reef in the EMZ. This deck can OTK with decent consistency if you get through your opponent's board.

Tips: *Opening hand of Battle Ocean, Dive, and a Marincess? Summon Pascalus from deck. *Banish Argonaut or Marbled Rock with Springirl when possible to loop them.
