This is the last time I climb ranked with Virtual World. This sheer brickfest of a deck has tortured me enough. I went from D2 to D5 to D3 to D4 to D2 to D3 and then finally climbed the last rank without losing a single game.
Anyway, my setup this season was specifically to improve my chances against Branded. Scythe + Dragster is extremely difficult for most decks to deal with; you are almost certainly skipping your opponent's turn. However, your followup can sometimes be really lackluster -- only half of the Scythe combo lines give you guaranteed followup (qinglong in GY or jiji adding laolao in EP) so you might die on turn 4 anyway. Also, Scythe leaves you critically vulnerable against Floo... but better to play better against 70% of the field than to have middling matchups against the whole field.
Draco Berserker can be replaced by any other level 8 or 11 Synchro. It's just there to get Scythe back into the GY and give you followup to push for game.
